How Do I Add Custom Tokens to ELLIPAL Wallet? How Do I Send Tokens?

ELLIPAL is a hardware wallet designed to securely store your private keys and sign transactions. It’s important to understand that tokens are not directly added to the hardware wallet itself. Instead, tokens are managed through the ELLIPAL app, which sync accounts via scanning connection QR codes on ELLIPAL.

For example, ERC20 tokens like SHIB and JASMY all run on the Ethereum network and are linked to your ETH address. You can confirm this by checking your ETH address on an Ethereum blockchain explorer https://etherscan.io/, where you’ll see that all ERC20 tokens associated with that address are displayed.

Since these tokens operate on the Ethereum network, they use the same private key as ETH for signing transactions. This means that sending ERC20 tokens works exactly like sending ETH. When you want to send an ERC20 token, simply select "ETH"-your desired token-"send"- and enter correct information to initiate the transaction.

Turn on your ELLIPAL device, select "ETH"-"Sign" to finish the transaction.
